My Story

Hi, my name is Lambeau. I am 3 years old. I came to the rescue because I didn't get along so well with my Boxer brother. I sometimes argued about food with him. I love little kids and play very gently with them. If you have a ball, I would love to play...all day with it. I love toys and like when you throw the ball for me. I stay in my kennel when my foster mom is at work and I like it there. At night I sleep next to her in my bed on the floor. I will tell you when I have to go outside. I love the fenced in yard here and would really like one at my new forever home. I just sit in the back yard looking at all the birds and animals in the woods. Sometimes I bark to let them know I am watching them. I was really scared to walk on busy streets with my foster mom at first, but I am getting much better now. We walk a lot with my foster brother Mason who is strange because he is a Golden Retriever (what's with all that hair and the long tail?!?!?).   I know he is the boss because he is really old and I never fight with him. We do play a lot together. I snuggle with him all the time. I love to give kisses and snuggle with my foster mom too. I would do very well in a home with kids and no other dogs.  I am choosy about my dog friends.  I do like cats because they are fun to play with and chase. I would never hurt them because I am so sweet. I would enjoy taking some training classes with my new owner, but they are not required.  I also did have some ear infections when I came into rescue so I should be kept on grain free food and  may require allergy medication.  I'm excited to meet my new family and show them what a great dog I am!
