My Story

Helllllo everyone - my name is Levi.  What are you saying?  I can see your mouth moving....  oh wait.- you know sign language and you want me to "sit"!  Got it. You may have guessed, I'm deaf, but that doesn't stop me at all!  I was surrendered because I was an only dog and had a lot of anxiety.  My mom had a hard time letting me go –but did it for me.  I needed to find a home with another dog so I could be happier!!  My foster mom said I’m doing really well and am a fast learner.  I know 'sit', 'go to my bed', 'out', 'give me paw', and 'touch'.  I know - impressive, right?!  We are still working on down and spin.  I love to learn. My foster mom even taught me to sit and wait for my food cuz I really love my food.  Who doesn't love food, hello!  I love to play with my toys and I do quite well on leash. If you like long walks, I’m the guy for you.  I sleep in my crate at night.  I can tolerate being crated with the door closed for about 4 to 5 hours at most.  I would do just fine being gated.  I’m just a big lug that loves to be loved.  Did I tell you I have one blue eye and one brown eye? As long as I have my other dog or dogs with me I’m happy.  I love getting all the attention so we’ve been working really hard on sharing the spot light.  Don't the pups get it - I'm the newbie, that means I get ALL the love.  Okay - I know, I have to share.  I'm working really hard at that.  I will test you so keep pointing that finger.  I will do what you 'say'.   I do sometimes pretend to be blind too - ha ha - kinda like selective hearing but for seeing!  My perfect home will have another dog and a fenced in yard - those are two requirements for me. If you think I'm the perfect match for your home, please inquire and come meet me!
