My Story

Hello, my name is Nala.  I am a sweet, petite, 9 month old girl.  What I lack in size I make up for with all of my love and energy.  I love to snuggle with my foster family, I especially love my 12 year old human brother; he is so much fun!  I have 3 foster fur brothers who I love to play with as well.  I like to climb on them and play chase with them, it helps me get my energy out.  I am very happy on my own, but do enjoy having another dog to play with as well.  I would be better with a dog my size or bigger, just because I have so much energy! My foster brothers have a lot of patience with me when I climb on and lay on them. I really like to be close to my friends!

I am a very good girl and know my manners.  I know how to sit and shake.  I am house broken and am good in my crate when my family isn’t home. I sleep in my crate at night too with a comfy bed.  A 6ft above ground fenced in yard is required because I love to run and run and run!  Also, I can jump very high, so it keeps me safe.  I showed my foster mom this weekend how to jump over a 4 foot fence.  Being so young, I have lots of energy to get out, and need to have a lot of exercise. We have a cat at our house too. He is fun and furry and I like him.  I know not to bother him too much, so I just sniff him when he goes by.

When I am not running around and playing, I just want to snuggle with someone or lay in my nice comfy dog bed.  I love all of my toys and am good at sharing them.  I really like giving kisses too!  I love going for rides in the car and love everyone I meet. My foster mom says I am a sweet little peanut who just wants to be loved all of the time!  If you are interested in a high energy type of gal, I might be the one for you.
