AGE: One and a half years 

MY STORY: Hi there! I'm Taz and I'm handsome, smart, playful, silly - all the fun things Boxers are. (Alright, I'll be honest.  I also get into some trouble, just like a normal, young Boxer upstart. Who says shoes and socks aren't fun toys?) I ended up in rescue because I was hit by a car, but I'm healed and running around like a nut.  I have some basic obedience commands in my bag of tricks and I'm still learning. I'm living in a home with a lot of other dogs, but I would do best as an only dog. (That means I should be the only dog in the house and I should NOT go to pet stores or the dog park.) I get into spats with some dogs and I also have some minor resource guarding issues. While I have some issues, I also have a lot of love to give and I'm the best snuggler on the planet. If you've got tennis balls, I've got the time.

HOUSEBROKEN? Yes

TRAINING? Obedience classes are a requirement for adopting me. (The rescue requires obedience classes for all dogs three and under.)

GOOD WITH CHILDREN? Yes, but because of my guarding issues, I would do best with older children.

GOOD WITH DOGS? Sometimes. I would do best as an only dog.

GOOD WITH CATS? No

1. You must be a resident of Wisconsin (or the U.P. of Michigan). We rely on personal visits as the best opportunity for an applicant to learn about a dog. Please note that the dogs are located in foster homes throughout the state.
