Tyler

AGE: Two years

MY STORY: Hi! My name is Tyler. If you're on the hunt for an affectionTylervideoate, petite, and cute-as-can-be guy, I'm your man! I am a 37 pound bundle of love and an absolute cuddle bug! I love to be held and goodness, I just love a good lap to snuggle in. You should know that my fun-loving personality has emerged and I'm a happy goofball. My foster mom says I have such an irresistible little face and a super loving personality that definitely stands out. She also says it's simply impossible not to fall in love with me! I'm eager to please and thrive on praise. I'm playful and love to go on walks. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to go for car rides! I sit in the front seat and look out the window at the world around me. You should also know that I will need a home where someone is around A LOT because I have Separation Anxiety. My foster mom says that although I do have limitations on how long I can be crated, I have been very successful with being by myself in my crate. I can also get nervous in unfamiliar places, but when given praise and reassurance I do just fine. It's important that you know while I live with three other dogs in my foster home, I find it difficult and challenging to mix with the pack. I have some resource guarding issues. I also lack in positive interaction with other dogs so I will need to be in a home as an only dog. My dog to dog greetings can be a little tricky too. I'm not a dog park dog. My foster mom says she is confident that I will make my new home fall head-over-heels for me. No doubt I will melt your heart!

HOUSEBROKEN? Yes

TRAINING? Obedience classes are a requirement for adopting me. (The rescue requires obedience classes for all dogs three and under.)

GOOD WITH CHILDREN? Yes, I love kids, but I came into the rescue a stray. Because my history with children is unknown, applicants with small children should limit their search to dogs that are known to be good with the wee ones. I would do best in a home with older children.

GOOD WITH DOGS? Sometimes. I would do best as an only dog.

GOOD WITH CATS? Not known
