Boxer Bash 2009 Photos!

 Photo18
The sign, just in case you didn't notice the bake sale.

Photo29
Boston Terrier Rescue and the kissing booth - now that's entertainment!

Photo19
The GABR bake sale.  Don't even pretend you've ever seen anything else like it.

 Photo21
Dave working the lure course. After a full day in the sun, his noggin was a little, um, red.

 Photo17
Golden Retriever Rescue of WI had a great display.

 Photo20
Charlotte Gotz and her service dog, Ali. Charlotte and Wayne are great supporters of the rescue and we are always happy to have them at the Bash!

 Photo22
This pooch was ready to hit the lure course and show that plastic bag what for.

 Photo23
Waiting in line for the lure course.

 Photo1
Some shady characters hanging out by the back door.

 Photo2
Gregory, the media darling of Green Bay, taking a break. Gregory appeared on Fox 11 and had his photo in the Green Bay Press-Gazette.

 Photo3
Jeralyn hawking the new "Life is too serious" tees.

 Photo5
MC Phil calling door prize tickets.  We had more door prizes this year than ever before!

 Photo4
White Paws German Shepherd Rescue and Parkside Animal Care Center also exhibited at the Bash this year.

 Photo6
Kate, the goddess of the bake sale, convincing some customers that baked goods really do make all things better.

 Photo8
We tried something new this year - a tent to give attendees the opportunity to eat outside.  It worked out well!

 Photo16
Another new feature! Attendees could have their dog's (and their own) photo taken inside the boxing ring.

 Photo32
Bulldog + lure course = great comedy potential

 Photo31
When you look up the definition for unbridled joy, this is the picture you get.

 Photo30
Why yes, that IS a three-legged Doberman running the lure course.

 Photo28
We had more items in our silent auction this year than ever before. A bidding war broke out over a brand new bicycle, but it ended amicably.

 Photo15
Another new feature this year: cupcake decorating for kids! Volunteer Ann sent lots of kids home with a sugar buzz.

 Photo12
This Boxer has every intention of being "the one" to catch the plastic bag.

 Photo26
The radar run allowed dogs to find out exactly how fast they can sprint. A few speeding tickets (and loitering tickets!) were given out during the day. The tickets were good for $.50 off at the bake sale.

 Photo13
There were many vendors at the Bash, with all kinds of cool stuff for sale. Personal favorite: Sheltie Rescue sells a shirt that says: "Whispering didn't work. I'm more of a dog yeller."

  Photo33
We had a lot of fun with the new boxing ring photo booth.
