Guess what!! I’m ready for my new family! My name is Penny. Also known as Penn, Pennerroodle, PennPenn. You know when you are super awesome you get lots of names. Sometimes she calls me NO, Stop that, don’t eat that, or even do you have another frog in your mouth. My foster mom is funny. I love the water. I’m becoming a pro swimmer. I love to stick my head underwater and go fishing. I like to jump on the lake floats and run around. We also have kid pools that my mom sinks things in for me to fish out. I’m, like, always wet - it’s fantastic. My sniffer is fantastic too. (You can’t hide anything from me) I’d have fun learning scent work.
Ahhh Ok into the serious stuff. So I came into rescue with a really full belly. My foster mom looked at me funny and asked if I brought my family… silly her I don’t know what a family is. Within two weeks I had 4 beautiful babies. But the Mom life wasn’t for me. I’m still a baby myself. I came from this really bad place where I wasn’t treated very well. They call it a puppy mill. But that’s in the past and now . . . Now I know what Family is. So I’m setting out to find a brother who has a fenced yard, no cats and hopefully likes water. I do tend to attach to my person. I'm nervous about new settings/situations but settle in quickly. I love hugs, they make me feel wiggly. I'm currently on fluoxetine.

You must be a resident of Wisconsin (or the U.P. of Michigan). We rely on personal visits as the best opportunity for an applicant to learn about a dog. Please note that the dogs are located in foster homes throughout the state.
